2005 finds Raspberries hitting the road for their
first live shows outside of Cleveland in over 30
years. Cities witnessing this historic power pop
reformation include Chicago, Waukesha, Wisconsin,
Denver, Cleveland, New York City and Atlantic City.
The band’s SRO two-night stint at The Big Apple’s
B.B. Kings club is hailed by fans as the best shows
on the tour. Little Steven Van Zandt and Jon Bon
Jovi are among those in attendance.
Raspberries appear on VH1’s one-hour “Hanging With
Raspberries” special. The show features interviews
with the group and a special unplugged rendition of
their 1973 hit, “I Wanna Be With You”.
Raspberries wind up their 2005 reunion tour at
L.A.’s House Of Blues in front of a SRO crowd and
celebs on hand including Paul Stanley of KISS, Rick
Springfield, and members of Blondie, The Romantics
and the Go- Go's.
